Wacky Blues Professors
The Slovenian band plays blues, funk, R&B, and similar genres that remind us of the music of the 1960s and 1970s. What does that actually mean? A little food, a lot of drink, and a ton of broken hearts and snapped sticks, with blood-stained strings and broken relationships, whether it’s Friday or a holiday.
Though they call themselves "Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa", which could be translated as the Wacky Blues Professors, this band actually plays a rather eclectic musical mixture. Though heavily immersed in blues, their music is also strongly informed by psychedelia, funk, experimental rock and even jazz. Yet, this is never done at the expanse of their trademark dance-inducing, rhythm-heavy rock'n'roll.

La Cumbestia
In late 2014, a tropical cumbiadelic thunderstorm crossed trough a small bar in the austrian town of Graz. It was cold outside, but sweat was dripping from the windows, people were heavily shaking their bones when La Cumbestia was born. The band emerged with the fresh, groovy sound of Cumbica blended with other styles such as reggae, dub, funk and latin. In a continuous journey they melt driving tropical rhythms with flowering, oriental-scented clarinet hooks and the chant of Colombia and Peru. After some small club gigs and several festivals, where the band made the crowd dance and sweat with no mercy, La Cumbestia is now with their actual crew from Argentina, Mexico, Turkey and Austria.
